The actor died at the age of 90.

The artist starred in more than 70 films, including “Vertical”, “Odyssey of Captain Blood”, “In August 44th …”. He played in performances of the Taganka Theatre, the Mayakovsky Theatre, the Pokrovka Theater and the Taganka Actors’ Commonwealth Theatre.

The beginning of the way

Rasmi Dzhabrailov was born in 1932 in the Dagestan village of Kasumkent. Since childhood, he dreamed of connecting his life with creativity, therefore, after graduating from school, he entered the acting department of GITIS. After that, he was enrolled in the troupe of the State Lezgin Drama Theater named after S. Stalsky in Derbent.

Then he decided that he wanted not only to play in performances, but also to stage them. In 1961 he became a graduate of the directing department of GITIS. His teachers were such masters as Honored Artist of the RSFSR, winner of two Stalin Prizes Nikolai Gorchakov and chief director of the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya Andrey Goncharov.

After graduation, Dzhabrailov was hired as a second director at the Tajikfilm film studio. A year later, he became the director of the Dagestan Russian Theater named after Maxim Gorky in Makhachkala. At the same time, he staged performances at the Dargin Drama Theater named after O. Batyray in Izberbash.

Next – Moscow

Then, in 1962, he made his film debut – he starred in the film “Possessed” by Takhir Sabirov. A little later, Rasmi Khalidovich moved to Tula, began working at the regional Gorky Drama Theater. But very soon, in 1964, he moved to Moscow, where he was enrolled in the troupe of the Taganka Theater.

He served there for almost 30 years. He played Semyon Marmeladov in “Crime and Punishment” based on the novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky, carpenter Lin To in “The Good Man from Sezuan” (Bertolt Brecht), Isai Gorbov in “Mother” (Maxim Gorky) and many others. After the split of the theater, he moved to the “Commonwealth of Taganka Actors”.

Rasmi Khalidovich acted in films a lot. There are over 70 roles in his filmography. In 2002, the artist moved to the Vladimir Mayakovsky Theater. Rasmi Khalidovich died on the evening of January 22. He died after a long illness at the age of 90.
