As part of a working visit to the Kronstadt Naval Cadet Military Corps, the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy got acquainted in detail with the results of the activities of the Engineering and Technical School of Naval IT Technologies.

Admiral Nikolai Evmenov carefully directs and controls the development of this educational project at KICWC, as one of the most important and priority tasks of career guidance work with cadets.

As Captain 1st Rank Nikolai Dovbeshko, Head of the Kronstadt Marine Cadet Military Corps, reported to the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, last year the practical results of the Engineering and Technical School were presented at various competitions and festivals.

Thus, cadets of KMKVK became the winners of the competition “Engineers and Inventors” with the projects “Automated power supply system for personnel of the RF Armed Forces in the field” and “Possibility of using the Gauss mass accelerator system in artillery pieces of small and medium caliber”. At the International Festival of Innovative Scientific Ideas “Start in Science – 2021”, the School presented several technical solutions that are components of the overall project “Multifunctional autonomous link for monitoring the marine situation”, and the exhibit “Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with the possibility of autonomous landing on a moving platform ”, presented by 10th grade cadet Bogdanov E.N., was noted as the best and worthy to be presented at the International Military-Technical Forum “Army-2021” in the exhibition composition “Pre-University Training – Technology of Success”.

Also, at the IMTF “ARMY-2021”, in the format of the exposition of the education of the Navy, as the results of the year of study, technical models and projects completed by the cadets of the ITSH in the past academic year were presented.

The IT-oriented Engineering and Technical School at KICWC was created with the aim of forming an end-to-end system of engineering and technical education for cadets, providing an increase in the prestige of engineering specialties, creating conditions for graduates to make a conscious choice of professional activity.

Taking into account the training profile of graduates, the school has identified the most important areas of scientific and technical training for cadets: underwater and marine robotics, ballistics and navigation, the creation and control of unmanned vehicles in various environments, and the security of computer networks.

The Engineering and Technical School of Naval IT-Technologies in KICWC is prospectively considered as a complex experimental educational platform of the VUNC of the Navy “Naval Academy” for all pre-university educational organizations of the Navy.
