During the day, 19,481 patients recovered.

The operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow reports that 699 people were hospitalized in the city per day. Taking into account the dominance of the omicron strain and the characteristics of the course of the disease in this variant of the virus, the number of hospitalizations is the most objective indicator to assess the situation. 536 patients are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices.

Over the past day, Moscow doctors have cured another 19,481 patients. During the entire period of the pandemic, 2,418,457 people have already recovered. The city recorded 6388 new cases of COVID-19 per day.

During the day, 84 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of pneumonia and a positive test result for coronavirus died.

Muscovites with symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections can make an appointment with the doctor on duty online at their clinic. This will minimize the accumulation of a large number of patients at one time. Appointments can be made at mos.ru, on the emias.info website and in the EMIAS.INFO mobile application. Patients who do not use digital services can still come to doctor on duty without a preliminary call on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Operational Headquarters reminds: the best prevention of COVID-19 is vaccination. vaccination can be done by appointment at one of the vaccination centers based on polyclinics, as well as without an appointment at the points of work of mobile teams in popular public places.
